If you were born around sunrise then often there is a choice between 2 Birth Cards. The Birth Card is based on the solar energy of the day. If you were born before sunrise you are the Birth Card of the day before and if you were born after sunrise you are the card of that day. 

The problem is that in ancient times they told time with a sundial and things were simpler. Now we have time zones and daylight savings time that complicates things.
